My leadership course through my church, Grace Union Church, was a course given from some our board members as well as elders. It is not a course that you can just say that you would like to do. It's something that you're chosen to do. It's a one year course that I was lucky enough to do with several other members of the church. We met once a month, had assignments and books to read, to help bring us closer to Christ and to help us share the good news with others. It ended up being a very interesting course. It taught me how to lead others (not just in church), be better to myself and others, but to me the best lesson was how to love the hard people to love, such as those that we don't see eye to eye with. It was a wonderful course for so many areas of anyone's life!
