  • Established a non-profit to aid and implement productive play for children facing economic adversity. The Oliver Fund is a global outreach program sending playthings to children in hardship via aid partners, focusing on underfunded school systems and nongovernment subsidized refugee camps. Primarily these function through two avenues: First; internationally overseeing the distribution of indestructible playthings to schools and refugee children currently in 14 countries. This includes schools in Uganda, Ghana, Somalia, Lebanon, Jordan, Greece, Thailand, Vietnam, and Mexico; and includes refugee camps in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Turkey, Bangladesh and Greece. Second; focusing on outreach in the refugee and under-served communities in the Salt Lake area of Utah through the efforts of Ollie’s Army, which concentrates free time toward a collective cause of volunteering in the community.

  • A research-based, weekly podcast exploring the benefits of adult curiosity, development, and pure play. Presented in the format of interviews featuring typical individuals with unique perspectives or opportunities, coupled with a presentation of data that encourages creativity to improve brain function and reduction in stress. Requirements include: researching from a wide variety of data set; writing scripts, interview questions, and correspondence; interviewing individuals for a number of hours; editing each episode for content production; and, scheduling, advertising, and engaging on social media. All revenue generated by the podcast is directly donated to The Oliver Fund.

Followed clients throughout their building process for continued selections, designer input and client advocacy. Prepared documents used for the construction, county code submission, and decoration of each home.
