I started off as a graduate RN at one of the best hospitals in the world and have never taken for granted the experiences and training I received there. My transition closer to home began over 20 years ago at ABMC where I continued my Critical Care training, starting with Open Heart recovery then tackling the every changing high acuity Neurosurgery and Stroke population. I stepped into positions when needed in the supervisory role, I was the Stroke Coordinator for several years and was also in charge of training our nurses in the recovery of open heart patients. I have been in the Lead position for 6 years and have enjoyed the added challenges of mentoring and growing Critical Care RN's and working closely with Physicians of every specialty.
