  • FY2 – Exceptional Leadership in Emergency Department: Granted the rare opportunity to work night shifts in the ER, a role historically not assigned to female doctors in Iraq. This experience enhanced my confidence, resilience, and professionalism, allowing me to manage emergencies effectively under pressure.
  • FY1 – Exceptional Leadership in Internal Medicine Wards: The only female doctor permitted to work night shifts in internal medicine wards, a responsibility traditionally restricted to male doctors. Successfully managed patient care overnight, demonstrating independence, decision-making, and leadership in a challenging environment.
  • Third Year Medical Student: Served as team leader once in clinical exams, achieving top marks.
  • Second Year Medical Student: Led teams twice during the Head and Neck Anatomy and Head and Neck Neurology clinical exams, with both teams achieving near-perfect and full marks, respectively.
