Additional Information

During my employment at Little Shelter, I had the opportunity to join the medical department after working in the kennel for 5 years. After roughly 6 months, I became the medical department coordinator where I organized every surgery that was to be performed, every animal that needed to be examined by the veterinarian, I scheduled. I also led our spay/neuter van days where we had a mobile vet come to sterilize in house as well as foster animals. I scheduled all of those appointments as well as filled the medications, monitored patients in recovery and discharged them back to their adopters.
