Managing high acuity critical care patients requiring vital signs and neurological assessment every 4 hours, with high oxygenation requirements (high flow nasal cannula, continuous BiPAP, and tracheostomy to ventilator) continuous IV drips (cardiac medications, insulin, heparin, and PCA), and drains (IR placed gravity drain, Wound Vac, and chest tube)

Assuming leadership role as charge nurse, providing support and guidance to nursing and support staff, managing patient flow in partnership with medical team, ICU triage and patient placement operations center, creating balanced nursing assignments on large high acuity unit, advocating for needs and safety of patients and staff.
