Skills

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy has made a massive impact in all facets of both my personal life and career I've been trained by renowned therapists and authors, and in turn, have also run several DBT courses for adolescents, and use it in regular daily interactions I feel the the combination of Interpersonal Effectiveness, Mindfulness, and Distress Tolerance that DBT includes, combined with my natural eagerness to please those I work for and with, and attention to detail would make me a wonderful fit for this employment opportunity On a more personal level, I LOVE the hustle and bustle of being part of something big As a wedding photographer, I average about 20 weddings a year, and I never get tired of the excitement in the air, or being a part of making my clients day the best experience I can This desire to ensure that happiness occurs around me makes me go above and beyond what is expected of me when I do any work In addition, I am a proud homeschool mom! I love planning large events for the families in our area Several of these events cater to more than 200 people, and have required me to multitask with booking venues and scheduling entertainers, ordering and shopping for food, handling money, overseeing volunteers, and being watch and observant for safety concerns

homesteading, concerts, reading, knitting, baking, swimming, exploring

Homesteading! Well, I'm a bit of a beginner. We have chickens, and I've processed my own once( not nearly as traumatic as I thought it would be!) I also can our own veggies in the summer.

Concerts: The Xfinity Center is home to my very first concert I attended back in 1998 back when it was the Meadows! ( Dave Matthews Band!), so the venue itself holds a very soft spot in my heart. I try to go to a couple of concerts a year, and also love attending theater.

Reading: I am an avid reader! A little bit of everything!

Knitting: I'm not great, but I'm always trying to learn new things.

Baking: Another hobby! Cookies are a hot item in this house.

Exploring: I am someone who grew up going on vacations to places that no one really cared about. When I was a kid, it was kind of a drag, but now, I so much more prefer going often the beaten path, and searching out less explored and visited gems.
