Created and taught a 4 day modified First Aid/CPR class at Grass Valley Charter School for 6-8th grade kids involving local Cal Fire dispatch, Grass Valley FD, Grass Valley PD, a REACH helicopter crew and SNA agencies with in person demonstration and education of the 911 system.
In my assigned roll as Lead Medic, I was responsible for coordination with the transfer center to complete all code 2&3 in and out of county transfers, while maintaining and participating in 911 ALS coverage to the county.
SNA is a single roll medic staffing in a busy 911 system with BLS FD.
Being owned by the hospital gave us an expanded scope for Heparin and Nitro infusions administration during an IFT w/o an RN present.
