Under protocol adjusting anticoagulant dose as needed. Performing patient education pertaining to their anticoagulant. Communication with physicians regarding their patients care plan regarding anticoagulant. Frequent communication with nursing homes and assisted living staff regarding patient care. Sending and signing orders for medications with pharmacies.

• Greet patients upon arrival to Internal Medicine. Answering phones to make appointments and relay messages to medical staff. Face to face with patients at check out desk to make appointments and arrange tests physicians may have ordered. Making and editing providers schedules.
• During this time I also worked in medical records. Entering physicians notes into a paper chart. Fulfilling chart requests and release of information. Filing pertinent information into patients charts in a timely manner.
