  • Spearheaded a companywide initiative to overhaul the recruiting and on-boarding process from a completely paper process to a digital one with the roll out of the company's use of the recruiting and onboarding software in partnership with UKG Pro ATS
  • Completed this initiative from beginning to end with an initial goal of 12 weeks and completed it only 8 weeks: built all recruiting and on-boarding modules from scratch and also worked closely with all managers from General Managers to Parts Managers to train them on the process as well as employees
  • Built in a background check process into this initiative, which previously was not being used
  • Created and wrote all job descriptions for over 20 different positions and worked closely with our Indeed Representative to streamline visibility on UKG Pro Recruiting, Indeed, as well as Glassdoor platforms
  • Full cycle recruiting and onboarding, regularly managing up to 30 open requisitions and the initial recruiting and talent management for those positions
  • Completed initial phone and email screening of candidates and dispositioned candidates to the next step in the recruiting process
  • Regularly onboarded an average of 10 employees per week and was working on an in-person orientation initiative
  • Was the key facilitator in assisting the payroll department continue the transition from ADP Workforce Now to UKG Pro payroll and ATS and was successful in training employees on how to use the everyday functions of UKG Pro to lessen the manual burden on HR and the payroll departments
  • Handled all incoming employee and managers everyday inquiries from the full circle insurance process, disciplinary issues with managers, handled all leave of absences from Disability, FMLA, to NY Paid Family Leave
  • Created a termination process with a standardized form, progressive discipline process with standardized form which was previously only an email
  • Started a leave of absence initiative with the payroll department to track leaves and collect insurance premiums, while employees were out on leave, which was previously not being done
