- Chair, Nursing Research Council, May 2023 – April 2024. Leadership for the house-wide Shared Governance Council promoting nursing research. Increased efficiencies by decreasing subcommittee use, and increasing productivity at NRC meetings. NRC’s deliverables include Froedtert’s Annual Nursing Research Conference and community representation for Froedtert (Building Bridges).
- Member, Nursing Coordinating Council, May 2023 – April 2024. House-wide council comprised of chairs and chair elects from all Shared Governance councils. Participated in developing the nursing strategic plan, exchanged information between the NRC and NCC, and attended and reported on the 2023 ANCC National Magnet Conference.
- Engagement Advocate, July 2018 – June 2019. Collaborated with leadership and staff on initiatives to improve nursing satisfaction, retention, and morale. Assisted in preparing the FY19 Action Plan for staff engagement, and developed the unit's formal mentorship program. For staff meetings, I prepared and facilitated exercises on building resiliency and embracing change. Our unit (then on 4SW) achieved Tier 1 status on the FY19 Engagement Survey.
- Active participant in interdisciplinary rounds, collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, therapists, case managers, and social workers to deliver quality, evidence-based care.
