Responsibilities included curriculum selection and implementation, volunteer recruitment, screening, and training, planning special events, participation in church leadership meetings and discipleship.

I am a certified trainer for the Building Strong Brains TN initiative. The training focuses on the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences on an individual's health and development. The training can be modified to fit the audiences needs and can fulfill trauma training requirements often required of different professions and programs.

• And then adding the role of Director of Grants
• I was successful in creating, funding, and direction programs that directly benefited at risk and justice involved youth in an underserved community
• During my time as Director of Grants I successfully wrote grants funded by federal dollars, state dollars, and private foundations
• Upon receiving grant awards I successfully managed grant financing, program implementation, and reporting.
