I'm confident that the skills I have gained in previous experiences will make me a great candidate for this new role. Working in education has given me a strong foundation for working with kids. I get great satisfaction being able to help the youth in any way possible. Working at the state hospital has helped me gain new skills and sharpen skills previously had. I have learned to set healthy boundaries while also being able to support patients. I'm not afraid of new challenges, and I am always trying to learn new things to increase performance.
In this position, I support patients and staff by communicating efficiently, creating positive relationships, and carrying out patient care plans. In this role, I learned new skills, like how to obtain vitals, how to utilize de-escalation techniques, and positive coping skills.
I worked closely with a team of educators, including teachers, speech pathologists, and administrators. My time was spent improving students' communication skills by increasing their intelligibility and social skills. I have been fortunate to work with unique individuals, including students with autism and down syndrome. I take great pride in helping children become more confident in their communication abilities.
Efficiently and effectively assisted customers in picking up orders, solving problems, and finding the best merchandise for their projects. Since starting in May, I have received the Employee of the Month award twice, and I have been promoted from a regular customer service representative to team lead. This has required me to take on more responsibility, including working one-on-one with managers, reaching out to vendors, and training new employees.
I filled prescriptions, communicated with customers, other pharmacies, and nursing homes, and increased my knowledge of pharmaceuticals. I enjoyed working at this pharmacy; however, I had to find a new place of work due to the lack of flexibility in work hours.
Assisted customers by checking them out and locating products. Required strong communication skills between customers and other associates.
