The company I worked for had four core values and every year they gave certificates for those that were nominated for the values. To be nominated someone had to write a "story" explaining why they thought you were deserving of a certificate in one or more of the core values, and if the directors did not think you deserved it you would not get a certificate. I have received several over the 27 years that I worked there for Service, Justice, Excellence, and Dignity.
Responsible for setting a schedule and making sure that my team took their breaks and lunches on time. Also told them what tasks they were to do each day and made sure they were done.
Learned how to do things the manager needed to do and helped her.
Run reports on computer, learned how to build the schedules for the doctors daily appointments and close them when taking vacations. Learned how to manage time cards for payroll (KRONOS computer system, how to fix and approve them.) And continued to do the front office duties listed below
Check patients in for appointments, verify insurance and take co-payments, make return appointments when needed , Answer incoming calls and make appointments or take messages to doctors.
Pull charts for appointments and make sure they were prepped for next day. Take messages off voicemail for prescription requests and pull charts to go with requests and take back to the doctors offices. File all charts back onto shelves by medical record number.
