Sarah Psaila

I started playing piano when I was 5 years old and from there I picked up the cello, saxophone, guitar, drums, ukulele, bassoon, and some bass. I have been in ensembles such as concert band, marching band, saxophone quartet, orchestra, jazz band, full orchestra, county band, choir, and my own rock band.

I have lots of experience teaching because I was the drum major of my high school marching band for two years. This involved running sectionals and the entire marching band of 120 people. In my free time I also taught piano lessons. In addition I created have my own band called The Basssments and we have released two singles!

This past year at Berklee College of Music I have been studying piano and in my free time I have put together two bands (one soft/rock cover band and one disco band). I have also worked with a handful of Berklee singer/songwriters and have gigged and played around the Boston area! In addition I have studied with musicians such as Victor Wooten and Bakithi Kumalo.
