For the past ten years I have worked during the busy seasons for our family's business. The business is a men's formal wear and suit company. I have worked both in our retail stores and in warehouse. I have the knowledge and experience to work in any department of the company. My responsibilities include ensuring all orders are accurate and merchandise is shipped on time. I also make sure all garments meet company standards in our quality control department. I work in our pants department filling orders, sewing pants, doing yearly inventory, pressing pants, and stocking. I fill orders in our coat department and assist in receiving and checking in merchandise when it is returned.

At the Salvation Army I volunteered in the Community Service department. While volunteering the Salvation Army decided to reopen their Family Thrift Store. I have extensive knowledge of fashion, merchandising, and sales and so they asked me to help open the store. I was responsible for assisting in the hiring of all store employees and for the weekly scheduling. I scheduled all donation pick ups and did the scheduling for our drivers. I was responsible for overseeing individuals who did community service hours in the store and signed off on all their required paperwork. I managed inventory and was responsible for the pricing of merchandise. I did paperwork regarding store sales and made our daily bank deposits. I improved store layout and merchandising. I developed strong relationships with our customers and provided excellent customer service to everyone.

St.Maarten USA was the largest distributor of women's European clothing in America. We represented 8-10 different clothing lines. Our company hired representatives throughout the country to sell these clothing collections. I traveled to Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta to work with the representatives at fashion markets and shows. While at the shows I worked with store owners to place orders and assist our sales team as needed. I styled for major department stores and TV shows. I was responsible for all office operations and oversaw the employees in both the office and warehouse.
