Assisted Affiliate research sites in preparing for a research base audit. The audit did not identify any eligibility or data quality issues.
Participated in the development of the Early Feeding Protocol for gynecologic oncology patients having a hysterectomy. The outcome of the project was a decreased patient length of stay without an increase in complications or a decrease in patient satisfaction.
Led a quality improvement project to increase patient satisfaction on the inpatient Oncology units. Fairview recognized our unit for our successful outcomes.
Authored the Nursing Policy and Procedure for the care of the inpatient unencapsulated and encapsulated radiation patient.
Participated in a hospital-wide group that developed a RN mentor job description and competencies. Outcomes included a plan to increase accountability that led to the enactment of a pay differential.
