• Evaluate, and treat high-acuity daily caseload of 4 to 8 adult patients recovering from brain injury, spinal cord injury, lower extremity amputation, cardiopulmonary conditions, orthopedic injury, and organ transplant.
• Participate in interdisciplinary communication with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, physicians, and case managers daily, and within team conference meetings.
• Presented in family meetings, performed family training sessions, ordered PT equipment, attended educational inservices, referred patients to brace clinic, have lead group therapy sessions, participated as PT lead during interdisciplinary team conferences, mentored PT students as a clinical instructor, and also have mentored newer staff members.
