Collaborated with the Tribal Engagement Center, Max's Mission, and the Warming Center to provide comfort, foot soaks and wound care during the cold winter months. Provided both distribution and education on harm reduction supplies to members of the unsheltered community.

Assisted in interviewing and rooming patients, assessing vitals, administering vaccines, and screening for early childhood diseases. 

• Integrated Practicum Winter Term 2025, Sky Lakes Medical Center Emergency Department, 250 hours
• This highly sought after rotation focuses on critical thinking, patient assessments, triage, crisis intervention, and assisting in caring for patients experiencing mental crisis. The Emergency Room focuses heavily on medication administration and safety, IV placement, and charting.
• Trained Emergency Room staff on the urgent use of the Gaymar Medi-Therm machine to rapidly stabilize a patient experiencing acute hyperpyrexia.

• Integrated Practicum Spring Term 2025, Sky Lakes Medical Center Progressive Care Unit, anticipated: 250 hours

This rotation provides nursing students with experience in caring for patients who have complex medical conditions, are post surgical, or require closer monitoring than the medical surgical floor.
