To obtain a position that utilizes my clinical, management and supervisory skills to assist the government in providing efficient, effective and accurate programs and services.
o Serve as the Program Coordinator for the Family Integrative Recovery and Systems Therapy (FIRST) Program.
o Supervise 5 FTE’s administratively in the FIRST Program.
o Provide supervision to registered interns in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy.
o Acting Marriage and Family Therapy Training Program director; including completion of response to RFP to OAA and obtaining two stipend positions for student interns for the 2024-2025 academic year.
o Provide couples, group and family therapy to veterans and their family members.
o Utilize Evidence Based Practices (e.g., IBCT, CBCT-P, Systemic Family Therapy, Gottman).
o Provide groups to assist veterans with improving parenting skills, relationship skills, and to have more fulfilling relationships.
o Participation in and hosting outreach events for veterans, caregivers and family members focusing on resources at the medical center and in the community to meet the needs of our veterans in their family systems.
o Present didactics to colleagues and interns on topics such as; Evidence Based practices in Couples/Family Therapy, Resume and Application Preparation for Work in the VA.
o Complete all documentation utilizing CPRS and MH Suite in a timely and efficient manner.
o Assist with tracking referrals and outcomes of referrals for the FIRST program and reporting to Executive Leadership within the Orlando VA HCS.
o Provide data to MH leadership regarding FIRST program consults, staffing needs, clinic access, SAIL measures and productivity by the program staff.
