• Telemetry Unit, and occasional ICU. Assisted the registered nurse in the practice of professional nursing by providing direct patient care to promote patient comfort and facilitate the performance of diagnostic and treatment procedures, assisted with activities of daily living according to the needs of the patients, accurately observed and recorded concerns/symptoms/progress in a timely matter as outlined in the nursing care plan and per department policy.

• Worked on a Transitional Care Unit assisting residents with direct care
• Engaged with residents and acted as a physical, emotional, social, and mental support for them.

• Utilized motivational interviewing techniques to help clients recognize personal barriers to change and identify actionable steps towards improvement.
• Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for clients with complex needs.

• Monitored clients participating in WIND(Women Inspired in New Directions) program, substance use disorder program
• Transported clients, monitored progress, and documented appropriately.

• Overlooked democratically run, fully self-supporting recovery houses in the state of WV, and PA
• Opened new houses based on necessity, did presentations at local recovery centers and resources, and networked for investors.
