  • Suboxone Outpatient Bridge Program Director/Clinician (February 2015-August 2015)- Position as primary clinician in MLTC MAT Bridge program. Lead clinician responsibilities include but are not limited to running multiple psycho educational and process groups with outpatient clients returning for MAT services, case management, individual counseling, coordination of services with MAT RN and Doctor to support ongoing care of patients, organization of schedules for Urine Drug Screens, prescriptions, external outpatient care, and client needed support as required. Continued focused treatment of co-occurring issues, relapse prevention, assessment, and referrals to appropriate supports or other needed levels of care.
  • Psychology Intern (September 2011-May 2012)- Clinical Psychology Graduate Degree Internship in Inpatient Substance Abuse Facility. Use of therapeutic and psychological counseling techniques to work with 18-year old adults suffering significant chemical dependencies requiring an inpatient level of care. Internship responsibilities included group observation, process group facilitation, conducting ASI Summary Reports, carrying an individual caseload of 1-3 clients, working as part of a clinical team to ensure quality care, as well as the description (as follows below) for Clinical Case Manager.
  • Clinical Case Manager I (May 2012-Present)- Active participation in all aspects of effective case management including but not limited to: Processing and planning referral sources; Provide direct counseling services to patients in individual, group, couple, and family sessions; Facilitate psycho-educational and therapeutic group lectures, interview and gather psycho-social information; conduct Substance Dependence Assessments; Develop individualized treatment plans; Compile and evaluate clinical data and complete all necessary documentation as required by MLTC, CARF, ADAP, third party payers, etc; Promote quality assurance and provide the highest quality of care for all MLTC patients; Actively participate in supervision, staff meetings, case reviews, and clinical staff trainings; Assist Supervisor or Clinical Director to assure that the overall goals of the treatment program and MLTC are met; and respond to crisis situations as necessary.
  • Assessment Counselor (January 2012-May 2012)- Responsible for conducting ASI and Bio psychosocial assessments for all incoming inpatient clients seeking treatment for co-occurring substance abuse and persistent mental health issues. Communication with case managers, clinicians, medical team, and directors to support individualized treatment planning for inpatient stay as well as continuing care plan following discharge.
