08/19/25, University of Michigan Hospital, 1500 E Medical Center Dr, Ann Arbor, MI, 48109, Dear University of Michigan, I am delighted to apply for the position of Licensed Practical Nurse: PACU at the University of Michigan. I came across this position by job postings that were posted on the Universities careers website. I have years of experience working in healthcare setting and managing different types of patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. I’ve gained experience working in both the clinical and inpatient setting. My healthcare career began with working as a patient attendant which led to my interest in phlebotomy. My phlebotomy career started here at the University of Michigan Children’s Hospital where I’ve gained experience working with pediatrics and perfecting blood drawing. My time at U of M was one of the best experiences and I feel as if I learned so much. Currently, I work as a Lab Technician for Trinity Health where I do both phlebotomy and specimen processing. Through schooling, I’ve also gained clinical experience and knowledge regarding medication administration, tracheostomy care, wound care, and communicating with members of the health care team. Thank you for this opportunity and taking time to review my application. I would love to have the opportunity of having an interview scheduled to get to know more about this position and present what attributions I can bring to the University of Michigan. I can be contacted through telephone and email. Sincerely, Saraya Gist Saraya Gist, LPN
