• Completed various projects related to looks and feel of the statements, invoices, letters. Changed templates, tables, components, rules, sections, functions, flow page logic using batch and OpenText Exstream. These projects saved processing time, reduced the SLA, attracted more customers and add-ed more revenues.
• Completed various Go-digital (paperless) related projects to suppress the physical print of the statements and letters. Project saved print processing cost and reduced batch processing time. This was a big cost-cutting project.
• Redesigned print processes. Combined multiple print jobs into one. This project reduced the print service cost and reduced the mainframe CPU time drastically. This was a big cost-cutting project.
• Identified areas in need of critical improvement and implemented strategies to achieve targets. Followed all company policies and procedures to deliver quality work. Performed unit and comprehensive testing to drive functional and technical deliverables.
• Implemented consistent coding practices. Reviewed existing programs to refine, reduce operating time and improve techniques. Learned and shared knowledge of new technologies to support technically challenging projects and assume various responsibilities.
• Estimated work hours and tracked progress using Scrum methodology.
• Corrected, modified and upgraded software to improve performance. Documented software development methodologies in technical manuals to be used by IT personnel in future projects. Analyzed work to generate logic for new systems, procedures and tests.

• Designed and developed optional and conditional paragraph solution to support the automatic inclusion of manually inserted paragraphs into the letter templates.
• Designed and developed delimited reference files to contain all the text and required metadata (ID &description) about a paragraph. Added and mapped variables for the paragraphs.
• Used tag sets for special formatting. Mapped existing driver, reference & auxiliary files in XML. Used control file option with .BAT for the outputs. Verified output in both PDF and DLF formats.
• Managed large-scale projects and introduced new systems, tools, and processes to achieve challenging objectives. Collaborated with teams to define, strategize, and implement design strategies.
• Provided reporting for forecast analysis and reporting in support of decision-making. Created and managed project plans, timelines and budgets.

• Converted Portfolio Evaluation System from MVS CSF to HP Exstream Dialogue. Modified Cobol programs, Copybooks, Procs, JCL, VSAM and Sequential files. Mapped drive file and added new messages, components, pages, flow pages, tables, formulas, rules, barcodes, pie charts, and line charts. Used ODBC data source administrator for DSNs using Microsoft Access driver and SQL server. Project saved process time and revenue cost of running on the mainframe.
• Completed various cost saving driven projects for customers who opted to suppress their paper statements and view them online. Updated batch processes like Cobol, Procs, JCLs and Opentext processes like applications, documents, pages, table, variables, queues, search keys. Data generated in AFP™ format. Project saved revenue of the print vendor cost.
• Conducted scheduled system upgrades to maximize performance.
• Designed and developed application scripts for test scenarios. Used COBOL. JCL, COPYBOOK and SQL Server to develop new applications. Corrected, modified and upgraded application to improve performance.
• Proved successful working within tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment. Tracked all projects were tracked thru Remedy, PPLC, and Report Center. Endevor, SCCB, Unit Test Plan, Change Documentation were used for modification and migration of codes.

Worked with many projects for the clients. Below are a few of them.

• Deutsche Bank: Modified and generated investment account statements using MVS/CSF, CSF Workshop™. Built file hierarchy and DDL (Data Definition Library). Setup jobs using JCLs and printed in AFP format.
• Bank of America: Worked with Year 2000 issues for the base and regression report. Compared both base and regression report using Expeditor system.
• Barnett Bank: Checked date fields related to Year 2000 issue. Logged expanded date fields. Manually expanded date field in the COBOL source codes, Copybooks and IMS file.
• Created databases, data entry systems, web forms, and other applications for diverse uses.
