During my internship at Festo Technologies, I gained hands-on experience in software development, applying my academic knowledge in a real-world setting. I enhanced my coding skills in languages like Python, Java, and C# by working on a project focused on developing a task automation tool for internal processes, which streamlined operations and improved efficiency. This involved new feature development, debugging, and code optimization. I gained exposure to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices, participating in team ceremonies such as stand-ups and sprint planning. I developed proficiency in using Git for version control and strengthened my debugging and problem-solving skills. My experience also included managing databases like SQL Server, optimizing code for performance, and adhering to best practices for maintainable software. Collaborating with senior developers, I learned to work effectively in a team, incorporating feedback to improve my work.

During my internship at Verzeo, I worked on an image-based machine learning project focused on detecting aging signs using Python. I applied libraries such as Keras for deep learning, Pandas for data manipulation, and Matplotlib for data visualization. This project honed my skills in image preprocessing, model training, and performance optimization. I also gained experience in working with convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to improve accuracy. I am eager to apply my data science skills and passion for solving complex problems in a professional environment.
