Mammography

• Operates digital mammography equipment for diagnostic and screening examinations.
• Provides compassionate care and excellent communication skills to help ease anxiety yet position effectively and efficiently
• Assists the radiologist with procedures such as wire locs
• Performs quality control testing on mammography equipment, ensuring consistent functionality and image quality standards were met.
• Demonstrates consistent attention to detail while positioning to ensure optimal image quality and consistency

Radiology

• Operates digital xray equipment to obtain diagnostic images during outpatient, ER, inpatient, and orthopedic clinic examinations
• Operates C-arm during surgical cases as well as Hologic equipment for bone density dexa examinations
• Increased diagnostic accuracy with thorough knowledge of imaging protocols and proper positioning techniques.
• Assist's the radiologist/PA's during fluoroscopy exams, for sterile and non sterile (barium) procedures

Computed Tomography

• Enhanced patient comfort by providing clear explanations of CT scan procedures and addressing concerns.
• Able to operate GE and Siemens CT scanners for outpatient, inpatient, and ER examinations
• Skillful on starting IV's for contrast studies
• Runs quality control on CT scanners to ensure consistent accuracy and quality of images

• Worked effectively during fast paced busy settings
• High attention to detail when obtaining specific orthopedic radiographs
• Greeted and roomed patients, obtained vitals for the doctors
• Assisted orthopedic doctors with procedures such as casting, and minor sterile procedures.
