Served as a product owner, product designer, and software systems engineer to guide and support the rapid software development, design, testing, and technical management of Air Traffic Management applications by incorporating principles of Agile, User-Centered design, Lean Production, and Test Driven Development
Developed the FAA's new NAS Status application (National Airspace System Status, nasstatus.faa.gov) that provides air traffic data to aviation communities and flying public on active /planned airport and airspace delays and airport operational status (for operations planning and situational awareness)
Developed an application for arrival and departure slot reservations at high density airports and special events such as air shows, sporting events etc
Facilitated Product discovery and framing efforts to generate customer requirements, construct a product vision, generate user personas, and identify user needs, pain points and organizational goals
Translated requirements/test criteria for software development in the form of User stories and conduct User Acceptance Testing
Managed and organized the product backlog and releases for each iteration using JIRA
Managed software releases, release documentations, validate software deployments, and present changes to the Change Management Board as part of configuration management
Created application prototypes for user research/testing using wire-framing tools ( Adobe XD, Figma)
Conducted user interviews, Synthesize user feedback, validate user assumptions, and rapidly iterate application prototypes for user testing
Performed technical analysis of application data feeds, data validation checks and create data flow diagrams
Collaborated in facilitating Iterative Planning Meetings, prioritizing application features and driving product decisions
Collaborated with the Product Manager and cross organizational teams in creating Concept of Operations and Maintenance Support Model
