Proven expertise in Project Management and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
I joined the US Navy immediately after high school and served a total of 5 years. During my time in service, I performed my duties and responsibilities as an Engineer. I quickly went through the ranks of E-1 to E-5 in about 2 years due to my hard work and strong work ethic. My responsibility as an Engineer was to perform work on 4 Main Propulsion Diesel Engines, 5 Ship's Service Diesel Generators, Oil Purifiers, Heaters, various Pumps, Compressors and supporting equipment. I also spent my final 3 years in Service as the Ship's Oil King. As Oil King, I was responsible for maintaining and testing 800k gallons of fuel, 15k gallons of Lube Oil, 10k gallons of Jacket Water and all Oily Waste onboard including separators, filters, transfer pumps, and all testing equipment. I went on 1 deployment from November 2022 to June 2023. During my deployment, I was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for combatting and putting out a Class Charlie Fire in one of our Main Engine rooms.
