• Working with physicians to plan, implement, evaluate patient care plan and modify when needed.
• Educate patient on detox procedures.
• Administer taper medication such as Lorazepam, Librium and Buprenorphine per treatment protocols. Monitor for withdrawal symptoms, risk for seizure, evaluating CIWA and COWS and treatment. Maintain and adhere to establish infection control protocols.
• Assist in behavioral management of patients which include verbal redirection and active listening.
• Conduct groups to promote restoration of health, client and family education and serve as advocate.
• Perform patient assessment for risk factors for mental illness.
• Administered medications via oral, IV and intramuscular injections and monitored responses.
• Managed care from admission to discharge

• Serve as a team leader to staff on correct procedures and techniques for resident care

• Admit new residents and assess their physical and mental condition, while collaborating with MD on plan of care on admission.
• Provide discharge instructions for resident returning home. Answering questions regarding medication, follow up appointments, and discharge instructions.
• Oversaw team of 20 employees focused on patient care work

• • Shift Medication administration. Report critical changes and adverse reactions to medications, accordance to policy.
• • Experience in tracheostomy care, peg tube, nephrostomy tube, IV therapy and wound treatment.
• Coronavirus unit- admission assessment performed. Assessed patient condition notified doctor for any changes. Monitor vitals sign and level of consciousness and pain. Provide emotional support to resident and family. PPEs in place and infection control implemented.
