Assumes full responsibility for the direction and management of the Division in the absence of the Director, so that requests are completed in accordance with the Code of Alabama, the Rules of the State Board of Health, and the policies of the State Registrar. Directly supervises the Paternity and Death Amendment staff of the Specials Division and manages the workflow of Specials transactions by distributing work to employees, reviewing employee work product, and updating Special's pending transactins list. Recruit and train new employees in the Specials Division and provide ongoing training and guidance to Specials staff. Participates in the development of procedures and modifications to increase productivity and enhance workflow.
