Community Service
As part of my clinical rotations in my CNA program, I participated in a health fair held at a local church. I was rotated between triage, glucose checks, and registering incoming people and helping them find their way to each checkpoint throughout the health fair., I also did a rotation at a local elementary school where I assisted the school nurse in any task she needed. We performed vision and hearing tests on children and also helped distribute shoes for those students in need of any. When and if needed I would help triage any children coming in to her office and we would contact parents if needed to come pick up the child if their were too sick to stay at school.
