Hi, my name is Savanah Free. I am a student athlete here at Danville High. I am applying for the Jane Nelson Fields Scholarship, honoring the amazing life of Mrs. Jane Fields. This is my resume that states my educational/career plans, work experience, high school achievements and honors, community, church, and civic achievements and honors, and other achievements and honors. I also simply wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to apply for this scholarship, and it would a great honor to receive it.

- Care for dogs and cats on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Work part time while being in school and playing volleyball.
- Give medicine, baths, and love to all the animals.
- Trim toenails and clean ears
- Do laundry, dishes, sweep, mop, and anything else I am asked to do.
- Clean the barn and kennels.
- Assist vet techs in getting x-rays and fecals, drawing blood, sending home patients, and prepping for surgery.

Eductional/Career Plans
I have been extremely blessed to receive an accept an offer from Gadsden State Community College to further my athletic and academic career. After these two years, I plan on attending Auburn University to major in marine biology. Once I have earned my degree, I plan on moving off to pursue my passion of working with marine life and to do whatever God has in store for me.
High School Achievements and Honors
- An active member of National Honors Society, which I have been in for 2 years.
- In the Top 10 of our class, currently ranked 4th.
- Highest average in Algebra 1 in the 9th grade.
- One of the two students in the grade to be chosen to eat lunch with Bill Hopkins.
Community, Church, and Civic Achievements
- Worked the Diken Festival for 2 years
- Volunteered at County Line before I got the job
- Participate in church Christmas plays, community activities, and kids' camp.

- Placed 3rd in the Eva community glow run.
- Made and delivered cards to Summerford Nursing Home.
