I am an attentive and focused professional offering over 400 hours of hands-on experience in hospital environments. I grew up as a military child which allowed me to be successful in quickly building rapport with patients and families to raise my quality of patient care, assessments, medication administration and health education. I love children and absolutely loved my experience in clinical taking care of sick children and helping them feel better. I started college in the psychology program which has taught me many skills that are useful for nursing like how to communicate with patients, how to actively listen, and how to provide therapeutic communication. I love to learn new things and am super excited to have a part in pediatric care.
This job gives me great experience! I get to practice foleys, IV's, vitals, interacting with patients, and most importantly patient care while acting as a CNA. I also work nights so I get great experience at working that schedule if I need to.
