I have been with this company for 6 years & took over as acting owner one year ago. Therefore, I have has the pleasure to full-fill many hats. When it comes to job duties, I have broken it down to a few sections for review & better understanding.


Kitchen Manager:

  • Created recipes using software called 'Recipal' that help populate nutrition fact labels. Trained employees how to duplicate recipes on their own. Menu items were often created based off of what was current & trending, as well as being catered to our customer needs.
  • Costed the menu that was there before me, as well as any new menu items I created, to help stay on top of budget tracking.
  • Quality control was a major priority of mine. During the week, I would cook & over looked all cooking production. Saturdays, over see all meals were made correctly & catching any mistakes, before they made it to our customers.
  • Scheduled and received food deliveries, adhering to food cost and budget. Working with multiple vendors to ensure the best product possible for our customers, while maintaining relationships that helped our business stay in budget.
  • Optimized labor costs through efficient scheduling practices that accounted for fluctuations in business levels and employee availability.
  • Promoted teamwork among kitchen staff by fostering open communication, encouraging collaboration, and resolving conflicts effectively. Staffing was also something I took care of with finding the best 'fit' possible that worked for both the business & my staff.
  • Developed and enforced food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and healthy kitchen environment. We received many 'PASS' from the Health Department with little remarks due to the diligence I spent overseeing proper opening & closing of the shop, including proper food storage. Educating our employees so they can do their part while also learning about food safety.

Office Manager / Customer Service Representative:

  • Established strong relationships with clients, promoting trust and loyalty in our brand. This was achievable by listening to each question or concern & taking further investigation or steps needed to ensure best customer service possible.
  • Maintained Customer accounts that often had preferences or modifications as needed. Following up with new customers to see how their 1st experience with us was. As well as existing customers so they did not feel as if they had fallen under the radar.
  • Making sure everyone felt taken care of was one the best parts of my job, seeing how paying attention to our customers made them feel relived brought myself joy.
  • Reaching out to potential clients to broaden our business to other territories . We also worked with other fitness companies such as gyms & fitness studios in our local community.
  • Sales & marketing was a significant part of this position. Staying on top of the latest trends & products that would best fit our business model as well as provide highly sought over product.
  • Calling, texting & emailing customers with follow up suggestions that cater to their personal preferences & needs based apon previous conversations & listening to them.
  • Responding to customers over social media as well as proving materials for content, rather it be photo shoots or scripts made up.
  • Being the face of the company when customers came in for pick up orders, giving them a warm greeting. OR over the phone/ texting responses, always met with a positive response no matter the problem. Quick to find solutions.


Website Assistant & other side assistant work :


  • Maintained detailed documentation on website updates, changes, & coding on the backend.
  • Assisted in making the website look more appeasing & user friendly to our customers.
  • When we did menu changes, I coded each of them on the "backend" of the website so they would populate to our page. Including: Description of the meal, tags that were applicable, as well as plating the menu item for a photo & uploading the edited shot.
  • Each customer account needed to be updated when changes were requested or when we did menu changes.
  • Did numerous routes with company vehicle to deliver package insulated bags to our customers following safety protocols. This also gave me a chance to engage with our customers.
  • During COVID I had up to 10 employees under my watch & I maintained a business within our normal business. Meaning, I ran a special separate unit count for a contract we had providing custom meals to seniors who had to stay home while operating our normal business model. This took precise planning & careful organization.
  • Have never missed a production cycle, when odds & elements that were out of our hands stacked against us, I always found a way to make things work. Never gave up when most would have, to make sure our customer got the service they needed.
  • Often went above & beyond to bring satisfactory to our customers. Gaining multiple 5 star Google & Yelp reviews.

Accomplishments

- I started off at the very bottom, & after years of dedication, hard work & knowledge from job longevity, I have proudly made many lives better with the product & care I have been able to offer.

The hand written letters & outstanding media reviews have made it so I truly love the work I do. Not only did I get to see my efforts pay off with customers, with also the business it's self.

- Sales went up & contracts were gained from the attention I made to each of the accounts. The work was able to speak for it's self & the references started pouring in.

- Overall business moral improved once I took over, by showing genuine care to each of my employees, encouraging them to be the best they can be, providing the tools & guidance to get there.

- Food quality drastically improved, this was one of the biggest achievements that was brought to light.

- Having built many strong relationships with multiple personal alike such as: customers, venders, marketing teams, local business, affiliates & more.
