• Manager of the Department of Defense (DoD) Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP)
• Monitors submission of urine samples by defendants, offenders or respondents under court and post-sentence orders for drug testing and ensures effective maintenance of chain of custody procedures for samples
• Mastered Drug Testing Programs sufficient to gather data, compile reports, and make recommendations based upon analysis of information
• Mastered experience of the conventional principles of the urinalysis chain of custody, medical terminology, testing concepts, and established procedures as related to drug testing specimen collect, packaging, inspecting, testing, and shipping
• Mastered knowledge of DoD Directives, Air Force Instructions, MAJCOM, and local policies governing military and civilian drug testing procedures

• Applies rules and policies on confidentiality and release of protected information mission is to prevent drug abuse through education, outreach, and awareness programs, and detect and deter DoD civilian and military personnel from using illicit drugs and misusing prescription drugs. The Program components include compulsory random drug testing with punitive consequences, anti-drug education and outreach programs. The effectiveness of this program is measured by monitoring the prevalence of drug use from drug testing statistics published annually with a the 1% or less urine drug positive rate for military personnel and a 1% urine drug positive rate for DoD civilians in Testing Designated Positions. An additional source of determining the effectiveness of the DDRP is the DoD Survey of Health-Related Behaviors. The DoD survey is conducted every three years as an additional measure of effectiveness because it is independent from the drug testing program. The specific metric from the survey monitored is self-reported use of illicit drugs and misuse of prescription drugs within the past 30 days.
• Assists the Installation Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager (DDRPM) with the DoD military and civilian drug testing programs and assists the DDRPM with activities.
• Assists the DDRPM with the administrative management of the drug-testing program. Maintains a current contact list of all unit Commanders, First Sergeants, Trusted Agents, and legal office personnel.
• Performs administrative duties such as filing, records maintenance, data entry, and updates. Establishes, updates, and maintains office and drug testing records or assists in the operation of the drug testing program.
