Giving assistance to the circulator, anesthesia and the surgeon when needed before, during, and after the case to ensure the patient is provided the best care. Working in

• General surgery- Ex laps, Hernia Repairs, Lap Choles, Lap Appies, Radical Mastectomies, AV Fistulas, Dialysis Cathaters, Port-a-Caths, PEG Tubes, and Bariatric Procedures.
• Orthopedics-Knee Arthroscopies, Shoulder Arthroscopies, Bicep Repairs, ORIFs, Total Shoulders, TFNs, Bipolar/Partial Hips, Achillies tendon repairs. Using Stryker, Arthrex, Syntheis, and Smith and Nephew systems.
• GYN- Da Vinci Total Hysterectomies, A&P repairs, D&Cs, Truclear, Laproscopic hysterectomies, OOphorectomies, Salpingectomies, and Da Vinci assisted hysterectomies.
• ENT- Septoplasties, BESSs, FESSs, Thyroidectomies, Excision Lession, Tonsilectomies, Nose Bleeds.
• Urology - Cystoscopies, Da Vinci assist Nephrectomies, Orchiectomies, Bladder Sling Placement.
• Spine- ACDFs, Laminectomies, Fusions, Kyphoplasties.

Helping the nusreses prepare the patient pre-operatively and post-op. Assisting the physicain in

•  Colonoscopies, ensophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGD), bronchoscopies, and EBUS's.  
• Also second scrubbing into thyroidectomies, exploratory laparotomies, total shoulders, ect. to be an extra set of hands.

Assisting in patient care along side the nurse and physicain in the ICU. Monitoring vitals,  assisting in cardiac arrest, taking care of post opperative CABG patients, and helping doctors with in-room procedures.
