• Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to manage a portfolio of 500+ clients across the beauty, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, and food and beverage sectors to provide recycling assessments and strategies to improve sustainability and efficiency.
• Review client-submitted data/perform assessments using a member platform which includes technical specifications such as coating, additives, material type, shape, size, etc.; utilize findings to provide applicable labeling and methods to improve packaging recyclability using How2Recycle’s recommendations.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders including but not limited to packaging engineers, marketing team, and project managers to respond to and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on packaging related inquiries.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, trade organizations, brands, and suppliers to gain insights on new testing methods and remain abreast to pertinent industry changes.
• Attend professional development conferences to engage with members, present on key topics in packaging and sustainability, and gain insights and knowledge to drive organizational process improvement.

Key Highlights, Projects, and Accomplishments:

• How2Compost Program: Partnered with member to develop a streamlined method on label creation, clarification of internal guidelines, relationship management, marketing and web page management, and strategy alignment to drive the curation of a robust composting program.
• Consulted with a leading grocer to provide insights on best practices in recycling while implementing How2Recycle labeling on 10,000 SKUs.
• Collaborated with web developers to create a new member platform which improved the user experience (UX) for members while providing clarity in messaging and communications; performed user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that functionality meets end-user requirements prior to go-live and work with web developers to resolve technical problems that may arise.
• Promoted from Project Associate to Project Coordinator in February 2023; duties included performing packaging recyclability assessments, conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and maintaining abreast current industry trends.

• Developed a wide range of packaging designs for various options of form, usability, appearance, sustainability, production and efficiency for a client in the biomedical diagnostics industry; successfully provided the client with three prototypes from initial concept to creation.
• Researched trends and competitors in rapidly changing product environment for Covid-19, Implemented design recommendations and updates of specifications, produced prototype mock ups, and presented various design options and feedback through monthly presentations.

• Designed 75+ ArtiosCAD drawings with specifications and created samples and prototypes on Kongsberg for paperboard and corrugated customers.
• Conducted user and operator testing to validate functionality of the design.
• Gained knowledge in packaging machinery and design materials to produce viable packages to run on machinery.
