Leadership Experience
- Advanced Preceptor – expected to function as second charge on our unit, as well as be resource for nurses coming off orientation. Also expected to run non ICU codes off our unit until a physician arrived.
- Preceptor – I have trained multiple nurses, including new graduate nurses, transitioning them into full, independent care of CVICU patients. Complex teaching on cardiac and critical care drips, as well as disease processes and hemodynamics. Completed extensive education on charting and documentation expectations as well as in depth auditing of each individual’s charting.
