• Lead training for radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff on radiology systems, applications, and troubleshooting best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and clinical leadership to implement system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements while maintaining data integrity.
• Lead multiple radiology system implementations and upgrades, including testing, validation, go-live support, and post-implementation optimization.
• Provide advanced technical support to end users, resolving access, functionality, and workflow issues across radiology applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot all radiology systems, servers, and network connectivity to ensure consistent performance and availability.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for radiology systems and imaging data to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Serve as the primary radiology systems subject-matter expert, contributing guidance to departmental meetings and operational initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and successful system enhancements.
• Facilitate communication between radiologists, technologists, IT teams, and referring providers regarding system workflows, image access, and technical concerns.
• Improve radiology system efficiency by streamlining workflows, optimizing storage utilization, and ensuring reliable data transfer.
• Support budget planning efforts by forecasting radiology technology needs based on utilization, growth, and operational demands.
• Ensure seamless integration of new radiology technologies into the existing enterprise environment to support evolving clinical requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of radiology informatics standards, industry trends, and best practices to support long-term system performance and compliance.
• Evaluate imaging studies for technical quality and system accuracy to support diagnostic excellence.
• Support radiologist by configuring and optimizing hanging protocols, exam templates, and workstation functionality to enhance reading, efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide remote, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of home radiologist workstation, ensuring secure VPN connectivity and optimal functionality.
• Author and manage mammography patient correspondence, including MQSA compliant letters, breast notifications, and lung cancer screening follow up letter ensuring accurate patient communication and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee enterprisewide modality worklist connectivity, and DICOM send processes across the hospital and all connected facilities.
