I am one of the most passionate and hard working individuals in the industry. I have excellent time management skills and am as well as tremendously reliable. I have high ethical standards, distinguishing priority with problem solving issues that may arise as well as as exceedingly high attention to detail. I have been working in the hospitality industry for the last fifteen years, while also attending college periodically. I listed two of the highest accomplishments of my hospitality career in my resume, one being a hotel manager. I was recruited by the management staff to begin working for their business as a housekeeper. After four months I was promoted to manager and then to On Site General Manager. The hotel was a twelve room establishment with an additional efficiency provided for myself to reside in. I worked from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Sunday. During the eighteen months that I spent as General Manager I never took more than one forty-eight hour vacation. Their business was listed as the #6 out of 6 similar establishments in the small community. Within my first six months as general manager I developed a website, promoted through Trip Advisor by contacting each and every guest that responded to their stay with a review. By the time I had been in management for one full year the business had risen to #2 local lodgings. Following my first twelve months as manager the business received the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award for the year 2016. To qualify for the award I responded to 99% of inquiries made online, with an average response time of less than two hours. All of the reviews made during those twelve months averaged 4.8 out of 5.


I have recently decided to pursue a career in information technology and am hoping to obtain a position as an intern or entry level remote data / customer service representative. I believe that all of my hospitality skills will make me extremely adaptable to a position in the technology industry. I have taken college courses as well as learning imminently during positions in management. My flexibility and passion is what makes me confident that I will succeed in this new business.


As I am enrolled in Colorado Technical University's online campus I will be obtaining new strengths and skills with each course that I take. I am on the fast track plan that will make it so will be obtaining my Bachelor's degree in October of 2026. In the mean time, I feel as if I would be of excellent use to any business in the hospitality field. I am confident that I would also excel at any entry level data position, scheduler, clerk, etc.
