Savannah Starr Thomas

Savannah Starr Thomas is a dedicated and enthusiastic student with a passion for creating positive change in the world through her pursuit of political science. Currently enrolled at Michigan State University's James Madison School for Political Science, Savannah is a driven freshman with a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to excellence.

Outside of her academic endeavors, Savannah serves as a paid intern in the State Capitol for a State Representative under the Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives. This role allows her to gain valuable real-world experience in the field of politics while contributing to legislative processes.

During her high school years, Savannah's potential and leadership qualities stood out prominently. She represented her school on numerous occasions, including at the State of the County, school board meetings, and various other affairs. Additionally, she actively participated in the campaign of her hometown's current mayor, demonstrating her dedication to community involvement and civic engagement.

As an Advanced Placement (AP) student who also took honors courses, Savannah consistently challenges herself academically and strives for excellence in all her endeavors. Her commitment to pursuing her passion and expanding her knowledge of the world sets her apart as a promising young leader in the field of political science.
