After getting through student volunteering, I was able to assist teachers in learning for other students. Most of what I was responsible for was

• keeping classrooms clean, neat, and properly sanitized for student health and classroom efficiency
• handing out classroom materials, like pencils, paper, and crayons
• grading assignments and reporting individual progress to teachers
• maintaining safety and security by overseeing students in recess environments
• assisting lead teachers with lesson plan creation and materials development

As a student volunteer I was on my way on becoming a teacher assistant at this area. I was mostly responsible for helping out with printing out papers, handing out food and drinks, and cleaning up some messy areas.
