• Dental Hygiene Education Program: Surprised by the frequent request of dental hygiene products at the food pantry during volunteer work, it became clear that there was a pressing need for dental hygiene supplies within the community. During shadowing experiences at a local dental clinic, I observed a concerning lack of education regarding oral health practices among local residents. In response, I designed and implemented a comprehensive Dental Hygiene Education Program for students at a local middle school. Through interactive sessions, participants were educated on proper brushing techniques, the importance of regular dental check-ups, and overall oral health practices. This initiative aimed to bridge the gap in dental health education and address the shortage of dental hygiene products by distributing essential supplies, fostering healthy habits within the community.
