
I work on residential and commercial jobsites doing basic construction work. Including framing, flooring, and finish work.
I was in a mechanic position my first year at DSI, I performed regularly maintenance and repairs on crew trucks and equipment. After obtaining my class A CDL, I moved into an operator/driver position over the road. Mainly throughout the midwest from job to job.
I operated various pieces of heavy equipment at asphalt plants in Tennessee and North Carolina during the summer months. During shut down season I repaired parts within the plants such as: electric motors, conveyor belts, pulleys, and bearings. Metal fabrication and welding was also a big part of the job.
I was a hand in the lumber yard first year at Big John’s, I operated forklifts and served customers. I later moved into a flatbed delivery driver role. I filled orders, loaded, secured, and delivered building a roofing supply’s locally.
