Scarlett Crutchfield

I am 16 years old, and a junior in high school, currently homeschooled and taking classes at Sierra College as well as through online high school programs. Through my unique educational experiences of having attended private, public, and charter schools, as well as college in high school, I have learned how to adapt to many different environments and connect with very different types of people. I value my education greatly, but I am first and foremost a creative individual. In my free time, I enjoy creating art, reading, playing the guitar, collecting and listening to vinyls, and personal creative writing. More than anything, I love connecting with people and expanding my knowledge as much as I can.

In 2022, I won 2nd place in a Sacramento division essay contest. In 2023, I won 2nd nationally as well and ended up earning a cash prize and award certificate.

In 2023, I wrote and printed a short novella of approximately 20k words, which I have been refining ever since to eventually publish and sell.

I am involved in theatre and Improv through Take Note Troupe, or TNT, a nonprofit youth theatre organization based in Roseville, where I also help coach classes and workshops for younger children.
