While working at the Zimmerman library, I have enhanced patron experience through providing efficient and courteous customer service at the service and welcome desks. I have aided patrons in finding books, articles, and other resources, as well as helping them navigate services that are offered in the library such as using community computers and printing. Additionally, I contribute to the organization of the library as a whole by completing tasks such as shelving books, checking in books, packaging books for storage, taking inventory, and making sure that the shelved books are in order according to the Library of Congress call number system.
While working as a server at the St. James Tearoom, I enhanced customer experience through providing excellent and personalized service. I memorized and presented a menu script that changed monthly to each of my tables, attended to all of their needs throughout each seating, and quickly turned over each of the tables in a short time frame between seatings. I handled all monetary transactions accurately. I demonstrated multitasking skills by managing the needs of multiples tables simultaneously without compromising service quality. Finally, I collaborated with teams members during each shift to ensure efficient workflow and an excellent experience for the guests.
