Summary

I started as a patient care assistant in the emergency department, while attending college for nursing. Graduated in May of 2000. Worked in Neurological and Surgical Transplant intensive care unit from 2000-2003. Experience in the ICU was broad! Patient population consisted of heart,liver,lung,and kidney pancreas transplants. Also took care of a broad range of patients with a number of neurological diseases. While working in ICU, I obtained skills consisting of ventilator care management, central line and iv management, CRRT, ventricular assist devices, managing a variety of iv drips. Since 2003, I have worked in preop and post op for cardiac cath lab. I provide care to patients receiving wide range of cardiac procedures consisting heart catheterizations, cardiac and peripheral stenting, insertion of cardiac implant devices cardiac ablations and mitra clips. I also have experience in providing pre and post op care to anesthesia population.
