Summary

Technical Position – Main focus has been 30 years of sensor development for both space-based and terrestrial applications in the areas of digital signal processing, modeling, and data analysis. Recent projects have involved radio-frequency (RF) instrumentation, but past work includes multi-spectral, hyperspectral, and LIDAR. Concept–to-code development of signal processing algorithms/software for several space-based instruments has been a significant portion of professional experience. In my career I have participated in integration of instruments onto spacecraft and payload ground operations, with an instrument aboard Shuttle Flight STS-107 of note. Throughout career, supported in-field, data-collection exercises and in-field instrument evaluations/demonstrations. Supported data-collection exercises in the areas of: instrument operations, experiment design, collection equipment design and development, and data analysis. Being part of multi-organizational team has been common throughout my career.
