Provide excellent care and education to patients receiving a wide variety of Radiologic and Interventional procedures including angiograms, vertebroplasties, biopsies, infusaport placements, central venous catheters, drainage catheters, as well as many others. Many of these patients require moderate sedation requiring close monitoring of vital signs and patient comfort.

Duties include creating RN staff schedule, orienting new hires, providing expert assistance and advice to physicians and staff RNs, ensuring completion of yearly staff competencies, and acting as a liaison to Radiologists and other departments.

Worked closely with physicians, nursing colleagues, respiratory and pharmacy staff, and ancillary staff to provide outstanding care to a wide variety of complex and critically ill patients.

Achieved CCRN certification and served and Chairperson of the Shared Leadership Council

Worked closely with physicians and senior RN staff to develop critical care nursing skills

Through a variety of learning experiences developed strong critical thinking skills and adaptability
