I have spent close to 19 years in the utility line clearance workforce. Continue to work and provide a stable home for my family. My goal is to continue my career learning and advancing in this industry.
I've been a General Foreman for almost 9 years now I started as a ground person worked my way up climbing, and running a 45' bucket truck, 55' bucket, 70' bucket, Track skidder and PJ I started my Management career In Jackson, MI taking over a pullout with 6 crews struggling to hit miles target unit cost etc. built that up to a pullout with 10 crews through training a promoting within and letting go of some bad attitudes that didn't want to buy in to the culture we established. In doing so we produced some the highest miles targets in the region and lowest unit cost and doing so safely, I set expectations and goals with my crews and hold them accountable as needed. Second half of my management is moving to Coldwater, MI. headquarters similar situation as Jackson group used the same goals and expectations, we've built a very strong team in Coldwater headquarters built on mutual respect and me holding my foreman's accountable and them holding their trimmer/grounds person accountable. We've held the highest production numbers and lowest unit cost for the past 2-3 years along with my CO-GF in Battle Creek and again without any major incidents or injuries on Consumers Energy property. I have continued my growth and development at Lewis Services where I have learned to lead with the guidance of Lewis's operating principles and culture, I've enjoyed my time here and hope to continue to grow to help make Lewis the preferred vendor for our customers and our employees.
I oversee 9-10 crews for 15 months at Lewis Services, adhering to operating principles to enhance customer service and establish vendor preference in utility vegetation. I am efficient in Excel, Teams, Word, and able to navigate Power BI.
